Vaccinex is able to leverage the advantages of its proprietary ACTIVMAb® antibody discovery technology in the development of novel therapeutic antibodies. Our ACTIVMAb® technology provides the ability to generate fully human antibodies against a broad range of immune targets and can convert non-human antibodies into 100% human antibodies. Our product development activities are currently focused on developing antibody treatments relevant to cancer, inflammation and auto-immune diseases.

Vaccinex views its antibody collaborations as a key strategic element of our product development activities. In addition to generating near-term revenues to offset operating costs, antibody collaborations can provide co-development opportunities for us to share in product development responsibilities and revenues. We have already established several such partnerships. Also, due to our technology’s capabilities to address difficult targets, we have the potential to in-license portfolios of validated or partially validated targets from our collaboration partners or other parties.
